About Us

To be the best provider of student transportation and related activities. In achieving this, we want an organization that we are proud of and committed to. We want an organization where we have an opportunity to contribute, learn, grow, advance and where we are respected, treated fairly, listened to, and involved. Above all, we want to share in the personal satisfaction that comes from team accomplishments and the professional rewards that come from doing an outstanding job.

Corpus Christi Independent School District (ISD) was established in 1909 and covers 68 square miles.  There are more than 38,000 students attending school at 60 campuses. The Corpus Christi ISD Transportation Department serves approximately 10,230 students daily. The department requires 240 employees and operates  a fleet of 168 buses, in addition to the maintenance and service of 400 vehicles districtwide. Daily operations include more than 100 routes totaling approximately 7,000 miles driven each day.
