
The November 8, 2022, ballot will include one Corpus Christi Independent School District school board member incumbent running unopposed, and four candidates running for two additional open seats.
Trustees are volunteers who serve four-year terms in one of four district positions or three at-large seats.
Dolly Gonzales Trolley, who was appointed to represent District 4 in January 2021, is running unopposed.
After the 5 p.m., Monday, August 22, filing deadline, the additional candidates are as follows:

District 1 has been represented by John Longoria since 2006. In June, Longoria announced he would not run for re-election. Kevin Mihm, appointed to represent District 3 in January 2022, recently announced he and his family will be relocating out of the area.
Candidates will gather at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 31, in the CCISD Administration Building Board Room to determine the order in which candidates’ names will appear on the ballot.
