In light of the Texas Department of State Health Services’ recent announcement that public school districts are no longer required to report COVID-19 case counts, Corpus Christi ISD will no longer publish a daily case count.
The district is grateful for the vaccines and additional prevention strategies that have helped improve our community’s health.
CCISD will continue reporting cases to the Corpus Christi Nueces County Public Health District each business day. CCISD recommends the site https://www.cctexas.com/coronavirus for information regarding local case counts as well as locations where residents may receive vaccines and COVID tests.

Updates include quarantine time for students and staff reduced to five days (from 10) and the continuation of mask wearing being welcome but not required.
