Student Devices
The vision of Corpus Christi ISD is to be a world class school system where every student is a learner, every learner is a graduate, and every graduate is a success.
With this vision in mind, CCISD is proud to continue the successful initiative of the1:1 student device program for grades K-12. This initiative equips students with essential technology tools to access, create, share, and collaborate as responsible digital citizens. It underscores our dedication to providing all students with future ready skills and tools through effective instructional practices, preparing them to excel as productive digital citizens.
Chromebook Access for the 2025–2026 School Year
In the 2025–2026 school year, all K–12 students will have daily access to a Chromebook to support their learning.
Grades K–2: Each classroom will be equipped with enough Chromebooks to match student enrollment, ensuring every student has access to a device during the school day.
Grades 3–5: Each student will be individually assigned a Chromebook for use during school hours.
Grades 6–12: Students will be issued a Chromebook for use both at school and at home. These students are expected to bring their assigned device to school each day to support instruction.
Chromebooks assigned to individual students will remain with them as they progress through grade levels and transition between schools within the district. A replenishment cycle is being established to ensure all students have access to reliable, up-to-date devices through to graduation.
