About Us

The mission of the Corpus Christi Independent School District Transportation Department is to ensure an effective, efficient and safe transportation program for all eligible riders in accordance with the District’s policies and all applicable State and Federal Laws. To accomplish our mission, the Corpus Christi Independent School District Transportation Department will be “on the frontline” of the education process by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining a professional, caring and positive environment for our students. 

Corpus Christi Independent School District (ISD) was established in 1909 and covers 68 square miles.  There are nearly 33,000 students attending school at 56 campuses. The Corpus Christi ISD Transportation Department serves approximately 8,200 students daily. The department requires 240 employees and operates  a fleet of 168 buses, in addition to the maintenance and service of 400 vehicles districtwide.
