The Superintendent’s Student Ambassador Council is making a meaningful impact this holiday season by giving back to those in need within the community. This dedicated group of student leaders, consisting of two juniors and two seniors from each high school within the district, came together to embody the spirit of the season: kindness and generosity.
In less than two hours, students assembled nearly 1,000 hygiene kits and backpacks. This task can take staff up to two weeks to complete. The council's recent project involved packing the kits with essential toiletries such as soap, toothpaste, shampoo and other personal hygiene products, as well as backpacks filled with supplies to support students in need.
The kits and backpacks will be disseminated before Winter Break, ensuring that students can begin the new semester and year with the supplies they need to succeed.
