🎉 Exciting News for Carroll High School! 🎉 At the beginning of the school year, Mrs. Trainer applied for a grant through HEB's Community Investment programs to secure 100 clear backpacks for students in need—whether it's their first backpack or a replacement during the year. Today, we are thrilled to announce that the grant was approved! With a $1,600 check on the way, this wonderful resource will go a long way in supporting our students. Mrs. Trainer is also reaching out to see if the funds can extend to school supplies as well. 🍰🎉 Our CTE students are always whipping up something sweet in the kitchen with Mrs. Buentello's Culinary program! As they practiced using correct measurements and kitchen tools by creating delicious cakes in microwaveable mugs, they were also learning the difference between box cakes and homemade cakes. 🥄📏 The results? Tasty treats and valuable life skills!
