From the proclamation: K.E.Y.S is a community wide walk where citizens of Corpus Christi and CCISD employees will take to the streets knock on the doors of youth who are not in school and provide families with the resources needed for youth to return to school.

At 10 a.m. today, the Corpus Christi Independent School District held a drawing to determine the order in which candidates’ names will be placed on the November ballot for the district’s board of trustees election. Each candidate was entitled to be present or have a representative present at the drawing. If neither a candidate nor a representative were present, a number was drawn on their behalf. Early voting begins Oct. 21. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5.

At 10 a.m. Monday, August 26, 2024, the Corpus Christ Independent School District will hold a drawing to determine the order in which candidates’ names will be placed on the November ballot for the district’s board of trustees election.
Each Candidate is entitled to be present to have a representative present at the drawing.

Corpus Christi City Council recognized Carroll High School English Teacher Ashley Love during today's meeting.

Community members file for CCISD Board of Trustees positions
The November 5, 2024, ballot will include candidates running for four open seats on CCISD’s school board.
Trustees are volunteers who serve four-year terms in one of four district positions or three at-large seats.
As of the close of business Monday, Aug. 12, the candidates thus far are as follows:
